Mohammed Shah I (1358-1375 AD)

He was succeded  by Alaudin Hasan. He was the famous king of Bahmani kingdom, a good administrator and warrior.
Muhammad  Shah I Bahmani, he appointed his (father in law ) Malik Saifuddin Ghori as Prime minister.
With the help of his prime minister he made a good administration at that time.
He constructed the famous jamia mosque of Gulbarga fort in 1367.A.D
features of mosque:-
5000 people can offered the namaz.
the mosque have 83 small domes.four large domes . Rafi was the chief architect of the mosque.
We found Diwan i Bar i Am or public hall at Gulbarga fort.
He defeated the Telengana ruler they presented him turquoise throne.
Turquoise throne sent him by the Raya of Telangana. This throne was made of ebony and in size three yards long by two yards board and was called the turquoise because it covered with an enamel of turquoise hue.
  
It is his time when gunpowder and fire arms had crept into the Deccan.
He used cannons and fire arms in the campaign against Bukka of Vijaynagar, the artillery was in charge of Turks and franks serving for Deccan first time. In a terrible hand to hand fight he defeated the huge army of Vijaynagar.
Both neighbor kingdoms signed a peace treaty with the Sultan after defeat, and present indemnity of war, and then tribute to the Bahmani Kingdom every year. This shows the military strength of Bahmanis.
The Sultan Muhammad Shah I died in 1375 AD and left a strong kingdom where everything is well and all live in peace and harmony.
He was always ready to listen to the superior direction of the divines, and always counted on the prayers of Shaikh Sirajuddin Junaidi whenever he set out on a campaign. He made his capital "the center of learned and the envoy of all parts of India".
His son Mujahid Shah succeeded his throne.
